Two festivals will be held together on July 30 and 31. The 31st Shinzan Festival commemorates Shinzan, a racehorse that was born in Urakawa and won all five big titles for the first time in the history of horse racing in Japan. The other festival is the 50th Urakawa Horse Racing Festival. These two festivals offer a lot of horse-related events such as horse races and horse-riding wedding ceremonies.
